Illeac Messentric Lymphadenopathy

yes ... God thinks of us

In late summer day it may happen that the sky give us the magnificent vision of a rainbow that stands out among the dark gray clouds who have just finished downloading the rain.
And every time I am reminded of when I was a kid and I could not digest this so wicked God to drown all the inhabitants of the earth except for a recommendation and his family.
Then, luckily, I understood better the meaning of the biblical passage, the culture that had inspired and then I reassured. And I know God is diametrically opposed to what I had brought the number of teachers of my faith that until then had been followed.
They taught me that there was a God who liked to have fun in a sadistic, like the Romans or Greeks.
In fact when they wrote the book of Genesis was still in a stage where not everyone was treated the appearance of the monotheistic belief in Yahweh, and as in previous religions, there was a need to blame someone disasters natural and any other negative event. Many solved this need by assuming that a schizophrenic God loves man and does so in an exaggerated way in his own image and likeness, but then, sometimes he forgets and sends destruction, suffering, death. . .
The author of the song known as "Flood" really explains very well that God likes to create problems for humanity, but rather it is on his side, always.
remember his words so reassuring:
"I establish my covenant with you, no human being will no longer be destroyed by the flood, no more and the flood ravage the earth."
And then comes the fun part. The one that still reminds us of God's love for us and his willingness to let us enjoy all the best. "I set my bow in the cloud, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and will bow in the clouds, I will remember my covenant which is between me and you [... ] be the arc in the clouds, I will look to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living [...]
you read? "And I will look." On days like these, with similar rainbows, look up, look at the arc of God e. .. perhaps even be able to see that his eyes do the same.
