An angel irresponsible

His name in the Gospel of Matthew is not done, then we can not know whether it is Gabriel, the angel announced to Mary the birth of Jesus I believe no. Why Gabriel gives signs of being a messenger of the Lord in a way, precisely, he knows his stuff.
Instead, the angel appears to Joseph in a dream, while his family has just left Bethlehem (Matt. 2:13) [1] seems to be fairly inexperienced. Certainly paid little attention to others because, although they warned the family of Nazareth of the evil intentions of Herod and his wicked idea kill all children under two years, "forget" to inform the other parents concerned.
The angel in question allows only to Joseph and Mary to rescue his son and omits the other poor creatures.
If this is a distraction! Or issue a little sense of responsibility?
Yet the angel must know that you respect the scriptures. Who knows how many times, too, had read the passage in Jeremiah [2] that the same Matthew points out in his text to justify the fact that the so-called "Massacre of the Innocents" was already announced and planned by the prophets. Some might find giustificalo arguments, like: He had to make sure that the writing might be fulfilled.
Ok! Enough with the joke. It is not lack of respect for the Gospel text. It is simply an excuse to mention the fact that often we focus on arguments almost useless for our faith. We, like the angel, we are a bit 'distracted and we forget that this llo matters is Jesus and what he says to the heart of everyone. What matters is the experience that we do every day of God and his love. How we are credible witnesses.
Let those feathered messengers to children e. .. do great!

[1] After they had left, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph and said: "Rise, take the child and his mother and flee into Egypt and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is trying to kill the children."
[2] Thus saith the Lord: "A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted because they are not."
